Abraham

The father of our faith. Abraham did not have many struggles, but the ones that he had were great. Abraham was forced to seperate from his brother, Lot, as Lot was holding him back from his promise. Abraham had to sojourn into Egypt because of a famine in land. He was forced to call his wife, his sister, out of fear that they would kill him to have her. His wife, Sarai, had a hard time having children. Abram and Sarai were both old and childless when Yahuah told Abram that he would have a child. And no longer will he be called Abram, but Abraham. Despite hearing Yah, Sarai sought to make it happen herself by offering her handmaid to Abraham. They had Ishmael, but Yahuah told them that he was not the promised child. When they removed doubt, they had Isaac. Years later, Abraham went through another trial when Yahuah told him to sacrifice Isaac. He stayed faithful and was going to do it until Yahuah stopped him. Yahuah rescued Abraham during the most difficult trials in his life.

Job 5:19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
